The Miami Grand Prix was absolutely amazing! After a great race week previously, it was hard to beat. However, the fan favourite (and race driver favourite) Miami Circuit was filled with great moments. The rankings are official and the points are in. Team, as well as individual rankings, have shifted.
In this blog, we will talk about key events and also the overall leader board.
McLaren Continues to Thrive
During the official race, Piastri and Norris dominated the competition. There were some major face offs and tense moments throughout. The team has been demonstrating an amazing strategy this season and it shows in the performance. Both Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri were top 3 on the podium, gaining them both points for McLaren.
In the previous qualifying races, sprints and practices, both Lando and Oscar have been remarkable on track. Piastri in particular stood out during race week, consistently delivering great results.
Williams on the Rise
What an incredible race from Williams! Both Sainz and Albon got on the podium and gained points. Albon gained top 5, slightly behind Verstappen, and Sainz 9th. Combined, they managed 12 points for Williams. This brings their tally to 37 points and 5th place. The team’s strategy was outstanding during the Miami GP. Along with the skill of their drivers, this pushed the Williams drivers into top 10.
Russell Stays Consistent

During the six races, he has never finished below 5th place. This has gained him the title of most consistent so far – a massive achievement for Russell and Mercedes AMG.
