What a race that was! Through the summer humidity of Great Britain, MXGP riders pushed through to get to the number 1 spot. After the previous race in Latvia, many have been excited to see what comes next.
In this article, we will cover some of the many exciting moments as well as the rankings – both the individual and overall.
Febvre Extends His Lead
Once again, Febvre advances in points and continues to remain at the top of the rankings. From Qualifying to the 2 official races, Febvre was clearly there to secure yet another win.
He managed to secure 45 points as well as an overall 1st place finish -pushing him on an even bigger upward trajectory. Many in the MXGP world continue to be massively impressed by Febvre’s display of speed as well as skill.
Herlings Continues To Move Up
After his late start to the 2025 season, he has quickly caught up. His success streak is still ongoing as he climbs up the ranks – slowly but surely.
In the British MXGP, he placed 4th in both rounds and therefore secured a 5th place win with 36 points. He was a mere 2 points behind 4th place holder, Ruben Fernandez.
However, despite slightly missing out on a higher position, he has moved up overall. He sits at 325 points and has also progressed to 6th place from 9th.
Can we expect the World Champ to make his way up even higher in the next few races?
Gajser Still Recovering
Recently there has been no updates on previous number 1 spot holder, Tim Gajser. Although many fans are hopeful of his return, a championship win is not inevitable.
As of right now, he sits on 305 points whilst the current number 1 is at 584. This is an extremely large gap to fully close. However, only a return and actually seeing his performance would determine this.
