New Leader in the Spanish GP

The Spanish Grand Prix was full of turns! Between a change in the individual leader board, manufacturer leader board, and KTM finding itself amongst the competition, it was a great event.

The Marquez Brothers

The two brothers of MotoGP, Alex and Marc Marquez both faced different experiences in the most recent Grand Prix.

After a disappointing crash for Marc, his brother gained his first MotoGP victory of the season and also ever in the Spanish GP.

His victory puts him at number one in the overall rankings, which is only one point ahead of his brother. Previously, Alex consecutively placed P2 in all eight races. His upward trajectory truly is excellent.

With his skills demonstrated as well as his form on the track, it is almost a guarantee that his win streak continue.

Although his brother crashed earlier in the race, he managed to fly back up to a 12th place finish. Despite his trying however, the younger Marquez became victorious.

A Victory For Yamaha

After a rough couple of years for Yamaha, Fabio Quartararo made an extraordinary comeback. He got into 2nd place in the Spanish Grand Prix. While fighting against World Champion Bagnaia, he managed to overtake
them and keep his 2nd place.

Not only is this a demonstration of his skill but it also gained him points meanwhile putting Yamaha on the podium after a tough couple of years.

This is a massive accomplishment for Quartararo!

KTM

Like Yamaha, KTM too had a rough start to the season. In the most recent Grand Prix, Vinales managed to secure a 4th place finish for him and his team. Vinales’ teammate also made a good return from 18th all
the way up to 9th. KTM seems to be settling into the MotoGP championship well after the first few races.

As well as this, Binder and Acosta of KTM finished 6th and 7th, meaning that all KTM racers finished
top 10. This is truly amazing for both the manufacturer and the individuals. However, can these results be perpetuated all though the season?
