Brilliant Results at MXGP Germany

What a race! There were some unexpected and also some amazing moments all throughout the GP. With every jump, each rider raced to get to the number 1 spot. However, ultimately there is only 1 race winner.

In this article, we will go over some key moments from the race, as well as rankings – both for Germany and overall.

Herlings’ First Win of 2025

After a late start to the season, Herlings has slowly yet surely climbed his way up the leader board. With each passing race, more and more points are added to his tally. Germany marks the MXGP legend’s first win of the season since his injury. This is a big achievement for Herlings and marks a milestone for this season.
Due to the addition of 47 points, he is now up one more rank overall, putting him at 10th.

Coenen Continues to Impress

After the previous race, his second place finish to Romain Febvre impressed many in the MXGP world. Despite his inexperienced stance in MXGP, he continues to garner amazing results.

In the German Grand Prix, he managed a second-place finish once again. He himself commented saying that he must be the “second place guy” and that he is happy with his progression as well as results. Although it was a tough face off against Herlings, he did really well.

Due to his performance, he gained 47 points too. This secures his 2nd place lead in the overall rankings and pushes him ahead massively of competition. He is only a little over 30 points behind current lead, Febvre, also.

Can he rise to the challenge and take that spot?

Tim Gajser Recovering

With Gajser away from the track after a shoulder surgery, more people continue to overtake his point tally. He currently sits at 5th place with305 points total. His return date is not set in stone however many remain hopeful that it is very soon.

But can he reclaim his number 1 stat once he is back?
