
You’ve heard of F1 Esports, however have you heard of MotoGP? Currently, there are challenges going on in the esports world. So far 3 are down, and only 1 remains.
There have been rounds in a virtual Indonesia, Czech Republic and also Austria – the next one is in Hungary. This is starting on the 20th of August and will go through until the 24th. Two rankings are in this, one with European gamers and then one with international players.
After the Hungarian round, the Esports Championship will then continue to a World Title competition. There will be 3 rounds in the Global sector, spanning across 3 months and 3 different circuits.
For the 4 challenges, there are 3 subsections within rankings. In both international and European rankings, no one is on the same platform. Therefore, there are PlayStation rankings, Xbox and also Steam.
Indonesia
This was from the 2nd of July to the 6th and was the inaugural race to the 2025 games. The Rider for this round was Johann Zarco of LCR Honda and the track conditions were set as dry.
For the European rankings in the PlayStation division, a player called PLaT1ForLyfe from the UK won this race by a miniscule amount (less than 1 second). For Xbox, it was Jack Hammer4658 also from the UK and
finally for Steam, 26_adriaan from Spain. Then in the international section, a Brazilian player labelled as Turquinhojr beat the rivals. For Xbox, it was DipoAkbar12 from Indonesia then for Steam, also from
Indonesia was Juanda39. This got them all 25 points for the overall standings.
Czech Republic
The 2nd instalment of this tournament took place on the 16th of July and spanned over to the 20th. Like before, a Rider from MotoGP was selected. This time it was current World Title holder, Jorge Martin of
Aprilia Racing, and the conditions were also dry once again.
In the European rankings for this track, PLaT1ForLyfe once again took the win on PS, Jack Hammer4658 in Xbox then for Steam, JulitoCampeon15_ from Spain. This gained them all 25 additional points. Then in the international one, the same players throughout each platform remained in 1st place.
Austria
Austria is the most recent race of this tournament. It took place for 4 days from the 13th of August up to the 17th. Out of the 4 race competitions, this was the only one set as a wet race. Also, the Rider for
this race was Brad Binder of KTM Factory Racing.
For the European section, it was once again PLaT1ForLyfe who took the win along with yet another 25 points. For Xbox as well as Steam, the same players also remained at the top positions. Then with the
international rankings, the PS 1st place went to Mockn from Japan whilst Xbox and Steam remain the same.
Overall
For now, both PLaT1ForLyfe (1st place) and Jack Hammer4658 (2nd place) are tied with 75 points due to a flawless number 2 streak in their platforms. 3rd place is currently JulitoCampeon15_ with 61 points.
With the next round quickly approaching, many are locking in their predictions for 1st place all the way down to 20th. As things progress, more updates will follow in this article.
Hungarian Challenge Update
The Hungarian round is underway! The standings have been updated but not finalised just yet. So far they are as followed: in the European round for PS number 1 is davideturrisi06 from Italy whilst the Xbox and Steam number 1s remain the same, and for the International standings they remain the same as the previous rounds.
However, we are only 1 day into the final Challenges round so updates will follow…
The Hungarian round is complete! Right now, PLaT1ForLyfe is in the lead overall for the European rankings. For the international rankings, DipoAkbar12 and Juanda39 are tied 1st with 100 pts each.
Within the PS rankings, PLaT1ForLyfe once again got 1st place. For Xbox an also steam new 1st place holders were named, danielealoè26 and Sbadalongo from Italy.
In the international sector, all 1st places were the same as previously.
