Casey Stoner
He made his mark on MotoGP via his amazing skill as well as his unmatched talent. He was a good competitor for everyone whilst delivering beautiful performances.
Overall, 2 World Titles are attached to his name from the years 2007 and 2011. He also has a massive 38 victories from his MotoGP career – an impressive number. During his time on the track, his adaptability
combined with how he made the most out of his bike set him apart.
Although his career with both Ducati and Repsol Honda went well he retired in 2012 due to injuries. However, his impact on the sport remains prominent.
Mick Doohan
Doohan is an absolute biking legend. The Aussie was a natural talent and is still known as one of the most successful racing careers in MotoGP history.
He gained 5 consecutive World Title wins from 1994-1998. This is beyond impressive.
During a time where Repsol Honda was dominating the track, he mastered the racing game. His skill was genuine and worked with his determination as well as a good bike to push him towards more wins.
Overall, he holds 54 race wins and a success rate of 39%. His racing was amazing.
Marc Marquez
Marquez is currently racing on the grid, and with good reason. He is one of the best racers in MotoGP with some of the best stats. His riding style is aggressive, and he shows fearlessness when trying to win yet another Grand Prix. Overall, he holds 7 World Titles and over 60 podium positions as well as Grand Prix wins.
Despite the fact that he has gained countless injuries in recent years, he continues winning. As of right now, he is leading the 2025 championship by a massive margin. Many are predicting that he will win his 8th MotoGP title.
Valentino Rossi
Rossi, also known as The Doctor, is one of the best racers of all time and is an icon worldwide. He holds 7 World Champion Titles and a massive amount of Grand Prix wins – over 80. This is a record number of victories and has not been broke just yet.
Although Rossi retired in 2021, his racing style, rivalry with Marquez and his skill make him a very notable person in Motorsport. Overall, he is legendary.
Giacomo Agostini
When speaking about MotoGP greats, we cannot miss out on Giacomo Agostini.
He was in the sport from the early 60s to late 70s and during this time impressed people globally by securing 7 consecutive World Titles and then 1 more final title later. During this time, he faced many rivals but outperformed the grid a massive number of times.
Regardless, he is to this day one of the best MotoGP racers in history.
