In this blog, we will go over some of the many amazing moments from the race, as well as the rankings too.

Febvre Holds His Lead

After Gajser’s injury, Febvre took the lead in the overall championship. He has consecutively won two rounds of MXGP, including this one. His skill and also speed deliver great results in every race as he secures his
overall lead in the championship.

His number 1 finish in the French MXGP race garnered him a massive 47 points. This pushes him far in front of the competition and ahead of Gajser, who is still recovering.

Coenen Gains on Febvre

His strategy seems to be effectively paying off as he gained a huge 47 points this round. This matches the score that Febvre received also.

He managed to score a P1 finish in the first race yet was outdone in the second by Febvre, costing him an overall 1st. Despite this, he is still preforming remarkably well, and many are predicting a win very soon.

Herlings Update

Herlings did amazingly well in the French Grand Prix. In the first race of the GP, he placed 3rd, a massive improvement and accomplishment. Then, in the second, he ranked 5th. Although this was less than his first race, he came out with 4th place overall.

This gained him 36 points and therefore pushes him up the ranks. He now sits at 11th place overall with a massive 163 points. Considering his late start to the season, he is flying. Can we expect him to dominate the competition in the remaining 11 races?
