What Happened in the Monaco F1 GP?

After a great race in Imola, the F1 Monaco GP had lots to live up to. Monaco is iconic, but difficult to complete. The width of the cars themselves makes the turns of the track increasingly hard, and so with
Monaco, it is highly dependent on the Qualifying race.

Despite this, it remains in the F1 mix.

In this article, we will go over some key events as well as rankings.

Lando Norris Wins Qualifying and Race

Norris dominated the competition this race weekend as he pulled out all the stops to push him into pole position. After Leclerc held P1 for so long during the official race, Norris’ strategy improved massively. He overtook Leclerc and held his new position for the remainder of the race.

This gained him 25 points for his team as well as individual standings. He is also only 3 points behind teammate Oscar Piastri after his stellar performance in Monaco. But will he manage to overtake him fully in the Spanish Grand Prix?

VCARB Does Amazing

During the race, the VCARB strategy was simply amazing. Thanks to collaboration on both parts of the team, Hadjar and Lawson gained top 10 positions on the grid. Hadjar managed P6, whilst Lawson got P8.

This garnered 12 points in total for the VCARB team and also marks Lawsons first points of the 2025 season. And because of Hadjar gaining more points, he has officially climbed onto the top 10 leader board. These are massive achievements for both the team as well as the drivers.

Williams Continues to Impress

After an amazing performance in Italy, both Williams drivers continue to shine. They both finished in the top 10 rankings, gaining points for both themselves as well as their team. Their team strategy was great, and they both worked efficiently to hold their positions until the very end of the race.

They continue to impress fans and professionals within the Formula 1 world.
